I'm Sean O'Brien (sob) - a software engineer, systems administrator, and recently a father. I live in Los Angeles with my lovely wife Gina and daughter Emma. I currently work at Yahoo! Inc. in Burbank as a software engineer mostly developing Ruby on Rails applications for the Technology Metrics and Governance (SOX) teams.

My technology interests run from server virtualization and datacenter design to application development with ruby on rails and iphone development with objective-c and cocoa.

I used to play a bit of World of Warcraft back when I used to have spare time but now only find time to play when I can't sleep for 3 days in Bangalore, India. I enjoy traveling, I used to do it extensively with work and as such can now rattle off all kinds of interesting United Airlines policies, procedures, tips and tricks. Now any spare time I get I spend with my wife and daughter, Emma loves walks to Starbucks for daddy's nightly coffee fix.
